Violette De Laet is a London-based Production Designer working across feature films, television, commercials, and music videos.

Her credits include the feature film Misper, winner of Best UK Feature at the Manchester Film Festival 2026. She was recently awarded for Best Art Direction by FICOCC on her work on Ordinary Battles (Channel 5). In 2024 her work on Splice was shortlisted for Best Set Design at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival.

She has collaborated with production companies including Canada London, Iconoclast, Blink Industries, and Spindle, as well as studios including Amazon MGM Studios, delivering work across narrative, commercial, and fashion-led projects.

Originally trained in theatre design, where she began her career at the age of 22, Violette developed a strong understanding of space, atmosphere, and environmental storytelling. This foundation is complemented by experience within the art department on large-scale productions including Napoleon and The Acolyte (Lucasfilm).

Creating visually distinctive, concept-driven environments, she brings a refined use of composition, materiality, and atmosphere to each project, shaping immersive worlds with a cohesive visual identity and attention to detail, while balancing a confident overview of scale, budget, and execution.
